If you are a libertarian, don't use the phrase "my government", since it suggests that you belong to it (as in "my family"), that you are served by it (as in "my insurer"), that you own it (as in "my money"), or that you are owned by it (as in "my master"), neither of which is remotely true.
In other words, using this phrase obscures the fundamental fact that every government is a thoroughly foreign and hostile agent in relation to every free and freedom-respecting individual. Don't unwittingly use the language of your enemy, lest you unwittingly start to see the world the way he likes it.
