Nationalism: the Uglier Brother of Nepotism

Nationalism is tribal nepotism, which makes it even worse than familial nepotism, since the latter sacrifices fairness for the sake of one's attachment to concrete persons, while the former does it for the sake of one's attachment to abstract prejudices.
