Praxeology and the Meaning of Life
One of the pop-philosophical slogans says that the meaning of life is to give life meaning. However, slogan or not, it is actually true: the essential element of specifically human action is to choose one's individual, subjective purposes and to pursue their implementation. As soon as this activity ceases, one ceases to be a purposive being and becomes a vegetative one. Thus, a pop-philosophical slogan turns out to be a serious praxeological axiom.
